I am a transfer student at CSULB..and a dedicated commuter (2 1/2 hours of transportation one way haha).
I am LA born and throughout the majority of my life, art and music has been an important factor in building who I am today.
We all have certain fears and events of anxieties throughout our lives, and for me, art and music has been the most therapeutic and reassuring elements my life has ever introduced me to.

Along with art appreciation and the basic practice of art, I believe communication and sharing of ideas between the student and the teacher is very important. I want to become an educator who can support students to grow as a confident individual. Not only as an artist, but as a person. Recently, I've noticed that nothing is actually hard, but it is a matter of being familiar with what we are working with (and motivation to do so). Practice does make perfect, but perfect isn't a term I like very much..So I like to think that practice leads to improvement. Although I state this, I am still in-progress myself, but I wish to eventually reach this goal as I continue my own education.
